When it comes to drug-delivery, the most important parameter to master is precision. Medications that save lives can work in the opposite direction when taken to excess or inefficiently, especially when dealing with chemotherapy and other drugs with toxic or immunosuppressing effects. As technology becomes more articulable and less invasive, the less patients have to bear systemic IV solutions. Instead, they can receive a sufficient, safe dosage exactly where, and only where, it is needed. For start-ups Robeauté, PanTher Therapeutics, and Vonova Medical, drug delivery is just one of several avenues through which their innovative solutions can be applied, but each company represents a great step forward in patient care and technical achievement.
