ARTICLE SUMMARY:

The efficacy of the interventions for atrial fibrillation is still not what it needs to be. In part 1 of this article, we discussed how innovation around cardiac ablation catheters can close the gap. In this article, we focus on mapping, imaging, and other information systems that could guide interventionalists to better procedural outcomes.

Atrial fibrillation is the most common and complex type of heart arrhythmia. People with AF need effective treatments because their risk of stroke is up to five times that of the general population.
